Insta-buzz: What the stars were up to this week

This week, our stars were busy having the time of their lives overseas. From a hot air balloon ride to visiting a Taiwanese variety show set or even just taking a chill dip in a pool in Bali, our celebs gave us a major case of vacay envy.

Yasminne Cheng got a second dog

Everybody meet Ash! We know, isn’t he the cutest? And he looks just like Yasminne’s older dog Poppy. 

“He's 12 weeks old and already a crazy playmate to Poppy! We think Pops is going to be awesome big sis.. hopefully she won't teach him all the bad habits like barking at just about everyone,” wrote the Class 95 jock in her Instagram caption.

Chen Xiuhuan threw a really cute 23rd birthday party for her daughter Shalynn Tsai

According to the actress, her oldest daughter Shanisse came up with the idea for the family and Shalynn’s friends to recreate some of the Shalynn’s childhood looks.

Ed Russell had a chill vacation in Bali

The Class 95 DJ shared that he realised he’s been wearing “a lot of coats” in his posts lately, which led him to post a picture of him not wearing a coat (or any top at all, actually) in Bali.

Nurul Aini went for a Gold Class movie date with her husband 

Looks like the actress and her property agent husband Sofian Roslan ditched their three kids, Shan Ehan, 12, Shaista Eman, 10 and Shania Eva, two, for some quality alone time at the theatres. 

Zhang Zetong went night cycling around Marina Bay Sands

“No hate for the rainy season but let's have some drier nights for cycling,” he wrote on Instagram.

The actor also open-jioed his followers to join him on his cycling adventures. Could he do for cycling what Chow Yun Fat has done for hiking in Hong Kong?

Desmond Tan celebrated his dogs Udon and Hoshi’s birthdays

Bonnie Loo met Taiwanese host Hu Gua on the set of Best Variety Show 

The actress, who’s currently on vacation in Taiwan, said in her Instagram caption that she’s “really honoured” to have visited the set and is “looking forward to being able to work in Taiwan in the future”.

“I told myself, I need to work harder to earn better jobs and opportunities for myself,” she confessed.
