HK Actor Ken Lok's 21-Year-Old Daughter Is Not Just Gorgeous, She’s Academically Smart Too
Here’s another second-gen celeb that netizens have got their eyes on.
Meet Bernice Natalie Lok, the daughter of Hong Kong actor Ken Lok ( 骆达华), 58, who many will recognise as Pao Kwok Ping, one of the main antagonists in TVB’s cop drama franchise Armed Reaction. Bernice's mum is Chinese actress Lu Yan.
Though Bernice is only 21 this year, netizens have her pegged as one of the most promising second-gen celebs.
She sure takes after her celeb parents.
According to reports, Bernice graduated from Wellington College International Shanghai in 2020. The school has been dubbed the “most expensive international school in Shanghai”, with an annual tuition fee of about HK$400,000 (S$69,778).
Following her graduation, Bernice shared on her Weibo account that she was accepted into two top universities in England — London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), and University College London (UCL), sharing screenshots of her acceptance email.
She's definitely got the brains.
After doing a one-year internship at a global consulting firm and a law firm, Bernice eventually decided to accept the offer from UCL.
She’s currently studying in the school’s History (Central and East European) and Jewish Studies bachelor’s programme.
And of course, she's got the looks too.
Apart from excelling academically, netizens have also noted that Bernice definitely has what it takes to be a star, having appeared in a couple of reality shows alongside her celeb parents as a child.
Bernice is also musically-inclined, and is trained in the zither and cello.
Bernice performed an original composition on the zither at her graduation.
In an old interview, Ken shared that he will not object if Bernice chooses to become a celeb in the future. However, he hopes that she will complete her studies first, which means that we won’t be able to see Bernice’s showbiz debut for at least another three years. Bummer.
